ABOUT US

World S.M.A.S.H. Organization was founded by former college athletes who all share a common bond – a deep commitment to help young athletes address critical issues of childhood obesity, mental health in youth sports, and improving the quality of life for children in rural low-income areas and communities through Mentorship, Tutoring, Diversity Training, and Athletics by creating youth sports programs and educational workshops based upon the ideals of good sportsmanship, integrity, personal responsibility, self-care, self-sacrifice, and teamwork taught through organized athletic activities.

Educating, fostering, and supporting young athletes in their efforts to engage with the community and charitable causes, increase public awareness, and to inspire them as well as others to make the world a better place. Empowering young athletes to have the physical, mental, and moral development required to be an athlete and providing a successful start in life and sports regardless of age, race, gender, family composition, income, or community.

Young athletes that lived in rural areas outside of their metro’s county population area and suburbs without a full array of youth sports with strong financial support. Usually have a late start in organized sports, especially rural girls, which robs them of the opportunity for physical activity, coaching, being part of a team, learning skills, and substantial time away from “negative recreation” (drugs, violence, or sexual activities).

Each of our Founders have dedicated significant time, energy, and resources to various charitable causes and creating youth sports and educational programs to increase both sport participation rates and healthy development of the rural area’s youth. During their journeys, they found a common theme: many athletes and community leaders want to give back but don’t know where to begin. Our founders saw that the sports community is competitive by nature, which has led to a fragmented approach to philanthropy.

By reaching out to our expanded network of coaches, professionals, amateurs, and youth athletes alike across multiple sports, the World S.M.A.S.H. Organization was designed to bring all types of young athletes together to educate, empower, and foster to achieve their common goals and making a difference in their communities and worldwide.

The World S.M.A.S.H. Organization fundamental goal is promoting equality, inclusion, and diversity for all.
