ABOUT US

The World S.M.A.S.H. Organization was established by former college athletes united by a strong desire to assist student athletes in tackling significant challenges such as childhood obesity, mental health in youth sports, and enhancing the quality of life for children in low-income rural areas. They aim to achieve this through mentorship, tutoring, diversity training, and athletics, by developing youth sports programs and educational workshops that emphasize good sportsmanship, integrity, personal responsibility, self-care, self-sacrifice, and teamwork through organized sports.

The organization focuses on educating, encouraging, and supporting student athletes in their community engagement and charitable initiatives, raising public awareness, and inspiring both them and others to contribute to making the world a better place. It aims to empower young athletes with the physical, mental, and ethical skills necessary for athletic success, ensuring they have a positive start in life and sports, irrespective of age, race, gender, family situation, income, or community.

Young athletes residing in rural areas, away from their metropolitan counties and suburbs, often lack access to comprehensive youth sports programs that receive adequate financial backing. These athletes, particularly rural girls, typically start organized sports later, missing out on opportunities for physical activity, coaching, team participation, skill development, and risk exposure to negative influences such as drugs, violence, or sexual activities.

All our founders have devoted considerable time, energy, and resources to various charitable initiatives, including the development of youth sports and educational programs aimed at increasing sports participation rates and fostering healthy growth among rural youth. Throughout their experiences, they discovered a common issue: many athletes and community leaders are eager to give back but uncertain about how to start. They recognized that the competitive nature of the sports community has resulted in a disjointed approach to philanthropy.

By engaging with a broad network of coaches, professionals, amateurs, and student athletes from various sports, the World S.M.A.S.H. Organization was created to unite all types of young athletes to educate, empower, and nurture them in their shared objectives, ultimately making a positive impact in their communities and beyond.

Organization equips student athletes with the physical, mental, and ethical skills necessary for success as student-athletes, ensuring they have a strong foundation in education and sports, irrespective of their age, race, gender, family background, income, or community circumstances.

CULTURE STATEMENT

We are a family that understands children's growth involves more than just sports; as a result, we equip them mentally, spiritually, and athletically to become leaders in their communities, beginning with their own.

We strive to create a supportive, safe, and diverse environment that encourages them to develop the resilience needed to adapt to change and overcome challenges and setbacks in pursuit of their long-term goals.

VISION

Our goal is to provide student athletes with a pathway to reach their peak performance in sports and the chance to pursue their dreams of earning a college scholarship by participating in national and local sporting events that can also inspire others.

We envision that through our efforts, student athletes will create a positive influence in their communities and beyond by dedicating their time and energy to support meaningful causes, while also garnering community backing to help them succeed both on the court or field and in life.
